My kitten still has worms and diarrhea after deworming. What now?

I have bought kitten dewormer from Walmart and I've wormed him twice. What should I do he still has worms and he always has diarrhea. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 27 days old | 5 lbs

You are not giving the correct medication. If you are seeing tapeworms, small flat worms or rice like segments near the anus, then you need a prescription dewormer from your veterinarian. I recommend taking a fecal sample in and have them look for parasite eggs under the microscope. Then they can make sure they give you the proper medication.
