Hello i got two kittens. They are brother and sister. They are about 4 months old. Lately they both have been dry heaving and sometimes a white foamy liquid will come up. Its happened a few times thia last week. They eat both dry and wet food but never throw their food up just the white bile. And sometimes its just dry heaving like mentioned before. Oh and they act perfectly normal otherwise. Should i be concerned? Please and thank you.

Congratulations on adopting Milo and Zoe! The heaving is not normal. Things that are on the list of causes are parasites and viruses. Food allergy would be unlikely at this age but it is also a possibility. I would recommend to have them both tested for intestinal parasites and dewormed as a precaution. If the signs continue or worsen, then look into a diet change. Make sure the vomiting is not related to coughing as this would be likely a viral cause. In which cause Lysine is a good supplement for them. Best of luck with your two new kitties!
