Could eating horse chestnuts be causing my dog's runny stools?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 72 lbs

is it possible that my dog could be eating horse chestnuts and be having runny stools from it waiting for blood work to come back from the vet

Yes, they can pick up up bacteria and certain parasites from eating horse feces, which would cause diarrhea. I'm not sure what the blood-work is for, but I would not expect it to confirm that he got runny stools from eating the horse feces. I hope that helps and Kia gets better soon.
