Hello My puppy Sugar is very playful and energetic but randomly starts making noises as if it was a wheez and sneases randomly, at first I thought it was the flu, but she didn’t seem down or anything at all she has been normal with eating and play and energy, so what may be the problem?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sugar is super cute! It sounds like Sugar may be reverse sneezing. It sounds like a sucking in sneeze through the nose where they tend to hold their mouth open and grimace. I recommend searching YouTube for videos and see if that is what she is doing. It is common in some breeds (beagles). Some causes are allergies, inhaled some dust particles, foreign material stuck up the nose or above the soft palpate. If the episodes continue video tape it and take her to the Vet for an exam. I hope this helps and I wish you and Sugar the best!
