Why is my dog's red bump on her side getting bigger and redder?

My dog has red bump on her side & its getting bigger & turning more red. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 12 days old | 60 lbs

Hi thanks for your question. It is hard to say exactly what the mass could be without examining Cookie and taking a sample of the mass first.
