My dog was treated for amoeba, but still not better. How long?

She's still not okay. She got treated last saturday. How long does it take to be okay from being treated from amoeba? She's still taking her medicines.

Poor girl. Typical treatment time frame is 7 days. However in complicated case of organ damage and brain involvement, pets are at risk of not responding to treatment. Discuss with your vet about Chubs progress so far. Additional supportive therapy may be needed to get her better. I hope that Chubs is able to get well from her infection with amoeba.
