Does cold weather hurt a dog who has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure?

Hi there and thanks for your question! It can if Bosco is exposed to the cold for prolonged periods of time. Likewise with exposure to the heat during summer months. Too much of the heat or cold in a heart failure patient can put added strain on his cardiovascular system. Outside for potty time is ok but leaving out when it is very cold or very hot for more than 20 mins is not. I hope this helps!
