My puppy ate something weird and passed it. What should I do?

My puppy just passed this... I'm very concerned. Can anyone identify this and give me some advise on what I need to do???

It looks like some sort of linear object possibly a stick or piece of rubber. You would need to wash the faeces off it and describe the texture and weight of the object for me to be more specific. Do you know of anything the puppy may have eaten? If the pup is in good form, eating and drinking normally, I wouldn't panic at the moment. Puppies do eat things they shouldn't and as long as it passes through without doing any harm that's the important thing. Of course there could me more of whatever this is still inside, so be really vigilant the next few days. If you notice Eclipse being dull, going off food, vomiting, passing diarrhoea or not going to the toilet, then head straight to the vet. You may wish to take her in for a check up anyway so the vet can feel her tummy and ensure all is okay.
