I'm heartbroken after losing my dog. How can I cope with the pain?

I have lost my dog last night. I did everything I could but couldn't help. He was on treatment for tick fever. Anything happens during treatment I used to take him to vet & yet I regret few things. I din want to loose him at any cost. Now I can't really bear hes loss. All time I sit in other room & think of him. I can't have my meals also proper. Please tell me something to reduce my pain of loosing him. Thanks a lot & may God bless u people. You all were of great help to me during hes treatment. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 8 years old | 30 lbs
