My dog was bitten and has a red lump. What is it and what can I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 2 months old | 35 lbs

My dog was bit by something possibly a raccoon now he has a lump near the wound and it is all red. I’m going to try and get into the vet tomorrow. What could the lump be and is there anything I can do

It could be that Tank has an abscess. This commonly occur after animal bites and are very painful to the dog. He does need to see a vet tomorrow, as if he does have an abscess, it will need to be drained and flushed, and he will need antibiotics to treat it. I hope this helps!
