Hi there and thanks for posting! It is hard to say exactly what the cause of Bruno's hair loss may be without examining Bruno first, but I can offer some possibilities. It could be a fungal infection, mites, or a skin allergy. Your veterinarian can diagnose these potential conditions with a few simple skin tests. I would recommend Bruno visit his vet soon to have the possibilities above ruled out. He may also need an oral exam to check for dental disease as a cause of the decrease eating. You veterinarian may want to run blood work as well to look for other causes of decrease appetite. As far as the growth go, it would be a good idea to get a sample of one or both of them first. This should be done at your local veterinarian's office to determine if it is something of concern or not and if it needs to be removed. I hope this helps and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
