Cat still scratching & has fleas after flea medicine. What now?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 year old

I gave my cat a flea medication called BARS I think it's Russian and it's the only available medication in the pet store near my house.. I followed the instructions thoroughly and still there are fleas and I think my cat is scratching herself alot as there is scratch marks and wounds around her neck and on her back what should l do??

Make sure as well to disinfect your home from the fleas. Fleas live in the environment, not on your cat, so you have to clean that as well to help keep them off Coca and ensure the medication works. Wash her bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home.
