New vet changed my GSD's Milbemax dose. Is it still effective?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 27 lbs

Hello Please help.. My dog is 27,5kg, she is a 21 months old GSD. WE've just moved and sing up with a new vet.. The time came for the worming tablets, we use Milbemax chewable; In the past we always got 2 big tablets as advised on the packaging but this time the new vet gave us 1big one and 1small one?!!?small one is for small dogs and puppies only no? So I wonder did they make a mistake..they have also charged me 36£ for that LOLOL Do I need to treat my baby again?? Please help

Because the dosing range for Milbemax is so broad (5-25kg and 25-50kg) and because Samantha is right on the border of the dosing range, it is possible your new vet felt that one larger and one smaller tablet would be an adequate amount to protect Samantha. I recommend you check with your vet to be sure.

    HI there and thanks for posting. Oh my, this sounds confusing! I'm afraid I cannot really advise on which tablet to give as I do not know what the dosing of these tablets are and also I can't legally advise on dosing of drugs over the internet.
