My dog's tail bone is exposed and yellow. Is it an emergency?

My dog chopped off his tip of his tail off two days ago and the bone is exposed and turning yellow help?

This is medical emergency and Duke has to see a vet now. This will be extremely painful for him, and I would be concerned that the area is becoming necrotic. He needs veterinary care for this immediately. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
