Poor Bonny! What you are describing is a typical presentation of a dog with fleas, and if she isn't up to date on her flea treatments, I will give you a program for her. First, I would give her Capstar. It's a one time pill that starts killing fleas within 30 minutes. Then follow up with a spot on treatment, such as Advantage or Revolution. This is a treatment that has to be used once a month. You will also have to disinfect the environment. Wash her bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home. If Bonny is up to date on her flea treatments, then it could be allergies, mange, or ringworm causing her symptoms. In this case, a visit to the vet is recommended. The vet can do blood tests, skin scrapings, and use a Wood's lamp to diagnose allergies, mites, and ringworm. Once the cause of the itching is found, the vet can prescribe the appropriate treatment. I hope this helps!

Hello. It is impossible to provide a diagnosis from a distance & just based on a few pictures, but this could be either some type of allergic reaction or a skin infection. I would start by bathing Pawblo in cool water & a shampoo containing either chlorhexidine for its antibacterial action, or if he is itchy, one with 1% hydrocortisone or Pramoxine. You can find these at any large pet retailer such as Petco. The key is to leave the lather on for 10 minutes before rinsing. Repeat twice a week. If any of the spots or lesions worsen, you will need to see your vet incase antibiotics or another treatment is needed. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

Scratching can be caused by various reasons such as fleas, mites ,fungal infection, bacterial infection and allergies. the first 4 needs to be ruled out before we start treating for allergies. in order to do that first de-flea Pippa with a high quality flea treatment such as advantage spot on, if it doesn't help - take her to the vet in order to check for/treat the other possibilities. If everything is ruled out, then an allergy treatment can be started. Usually an hypoallergenic food is a good way to start together with anti histamines. if it doesn't help - the best solution is a medication called Apoquel which treats allergies with great success and without side effects.

Poor Katie, this looks very uncomfortable! Flea allergies, mites and lice are common causes and I recommend a good quality flea treatment such as bravecto or advocate and an omega fatty acid supplement which can act as a natural antiinflammatory and moisturiser. A full vet check and skin examination as well as antiinflammatory medications would be recommended if not improving in 5-7days
