My dog stopped vomiting, but now he's burping a lot. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | 3 years and 2 months old | 7.5 lbs

Hi. My dog was vomiting earlier this day quite a lot. I took him to the vet and he got some medecations and it stopped the vomiting. But now he started burping quite a lot. Is it a Good thing ir bad?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Buckis! Just be sure he is burping and not non-productively retching (trying to vomit but not bringing anything up). Non productively retching with a swollen belly and/or pacing is an emergency. If it is just occasional burping and he is resting comfortably then just continue to monitor him and follow your Vets recommendations. I hope this helps and I wish Buckis a speedy recovery!
