Adopted kitten, no medical records. How to vaccinate and know age?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1.4 lbs

We adopted our kitten from a local shelter. They have not sent us his medical records as promised, and despite, reminding them every week for over 2 months, they still have not sent it yet. We really want our kitten to be up to date on his shots. Also, they weren't sure about his age. We would like, also, to find out his exact age. What do you suggest we do?

Unfortunately without a date of birth you cannot find out his exact age. regarding the vaccinations, i would recommend just starting over with a kitten vaccination course, even if he already had it , it will not hurt him, on the other hand if he didn't have it, this can be very dangerous for him.
