Pet's info: Dog | Australian Cattle Dog | Male | neutered | 11 months and 8 days old | 42 lbs
I think I need to rehome my dog what should I do? So, we're about to move from an apartment to a house and my mom is telling me that when we move Rowan will be an outside dog. I don't agree but my mom will not budge. I am the only person who seems to love him. The rest of family ignore him because of behavioral issues but they don't want to hire a trainer to help. I think he would be better in a different home but I also don't want to give up my dog. Please help.

Wow, this must be so tough for you, I'm sorry you are in this position! If he already has behavioral problems and is ignored, leaving him outside all the time can make these behavioral problems worse. I personally am not a fan of leaving dogs outside all the time, but that is my preference. You may be right that giving Rowan another home may be best for him. He could get the training he needs to help with his behavioral problems, and could get the love and attention he needs. As hard as it is to give up your dog, if you feel it would be best for him, I would recommend doing that. I hope this helps, and again I'm sorry you are in this position :-(
