Is it normal for a rabbit to eat less after having diarrhea?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male

My rabbit just had diarrhea two days ago and now it seems like consume less food than usual but still active in it's activity as before. Is it normal for a rabbit after having diarrhea ?

Is your rabbit’s poop back to normal now? It is very important to keep a rabbit’s GI tract moving or they will get very sick very quickly. If he isn’t eating well or if he still had abnormal feces then you should have him evaluated by a veterinarian. Also they can prescribe a good called Oxbow critical Care diet that you can force feed to get things moving again. This has worked well in my experience.     It can take 24-48 hours after some severe diarrhea to start seeing the normal droppings again, this is because of the emptying of the gastrointestinal tract. if he is eating normally just continue the treatment that was given to you by your vet and he should be fine.
