Dear Dr, I have three parrots one of them is constantly holding to his perch or cage with his beak and is not moving around. He is alone in his cage but is right next to the other two parrots which are in one cage. She' s looking sick to me. But I can not lay my vinger on what it could be. What can this be?

It's possible Rosie may be bored and trying to play/interact if you're not seeing any other signs of illness and she's still eating/drinking and perching. However if she seems unable to keep herself steady on the perch, isn't eating or drinking, or is having other strange symptoms, it would be best to schedule a visit with a local avian vet to rule out any issues. Illness, infections, neurologic issues, muscular issues, etc may all be possible causes and an exam is needed to narrow them down.
