My pug licks excessively. Is 10mg Omeprazole safe for reflux?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 7 years old | 14.5 lbs

Hi my dog has been licking excessively for the last few days so the vet has prescribed omeprazole 1 daily 10mg to rule out reflux Is 10mg the correct dosage for a 6.8kg pug ?
