Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 3 months and 21 days old | 3 lbs
My male kitten has been having excessive diarrhea. His anus is very red and he cries when I wipe the diarrhea off. I have seen little orange worms in his diarrhea. He also has fleas and recently developed goopy green stuff in his left eye. When he walks anywhere he has bits of diarrhea. I need some answers to what type of worm he has and what I can do to help with his diarrhea, goopy eye, and fleas. Cannot afford a veterinarian as of the moment. All of these symptoms developed out of nowhere.

Hello, sorry to hear about Ace. It sounds like he could be having tape worms from his flea infestation and an upper respiratory infection. Alternatively, he could be having an eye infection or ulcer. You should treat his fleas with a flea medication adequate for his age, Frontline is safe to use in cats over 8 weeks of age and weighing over 1.5 lbs. He should be dewormed to get rid of his tape worms, this could potentially be done at a free clinic around you community, and at that same place look at his eye. In the interim you could use a damp cotton ball to wipe around his eye. Hope this helps and best of luck.
