Thanks for visiting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! High Triglycerides in and of itself isn't a very significant lab finding. However, I would recommend a lower calorie diet (most high quality cat foods are already lower in calories, and an age appropriate diet as well) to help lower this and also have regular blood work to check the liver values and ensure there isn't an underlying liver disease process.
