Why can't my puppy jump even though he shows no signs of pain?

My puppy Xavier. Has never been able to jump. He isn't showing any signs of pain and seems and acts and looks perfectly fine. Why can't he jump? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 7 lbs

It is possible that he either just doesn’t really know how to jump, or he may have discomfort if he tries. Problems such as hip dysplasia or luxating patellas can cause discomfort and cause a dog to resist jumping.
