My boyfriend did not watch Tot take her meds with breakfast (enalapril, vetmedin, lasix for congestive heart failure), and I just found a spit up enalapril behind her bowl. It is 6 pm now, and her usual med schedule is 11 am/11 pm. Should I give her the missed dose now and push back the schedule or just skip it and keep her as calm as possible? Boyfriend is in So.Much.Trouble!!

Not to worry - this type of issue happens quite frequently. At this point, I think your best bet is to give Tater-Tot her 11pm enalapril dose early around 8-9pm, and then return her to her normal 11am/11pm schedule tomorrow. Do not give a double dose! If she seems to show signs of congestive heart failure, such as difficulty breathing, trouble settling down, or exercise intolerance, it is worth taking her to a vet urgently. Fortunately congestive heart failure is rarely dramatically exacerbated after missing one dose of medication. I hope this helps and that all goes well!
