Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 4 months and 16 days old | 30 lbs
I have two dogs. A Catahoula (1.5) and a Husky/German Shepard (4.5 months) My female, Cleo, the Catahoula is a great dog! She has been teaching him a lot of things. BUT, when it’s walk time (at least 2/3 times a day, and I do it alone, so I have more one on one time with the leash) if I take Cleo, anytime I take Cleo, he will howl, bark, cry, jump around! He looses it, like she’s gone forever! He had many siblings, but raised with no Mum, she was hit by a car. I’m so at loose what to do.

Put Bentley in his crate with a special treat, rawhide or something to chew on when you take Cleo out. Only give him this special treat when Cleo is gone. Soon he'll realize that he gets something extra special when she is out for her walk. Also I would walk him first or play with him so he is tired when you take Cleo. Bentley is young so this behavior should improve with time and obedience training. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for your dogs.
