What is this scab on my cat's belly near her nipple? Is it scabies?

There's a little scabby on my cat's belly. its near one of her nipples. what is this? is this kind of scabies? and how do i cure it? thanks

Hello, sorry to hear about your cat. The picture is a little blurry. It could be a scab from a small laceration that will heal on its own and you do not have to do anything about it. A single scab is not consistent with scabies, although, the only way to rule out scabies is by looking for it under a microscope. However, if there was scabies you see it more around the face, ears, and arms of cats. Make sure that Pussy has adequate, monthly flea control especially if she is scratching around her belly and tail/rump area. Hope this helps and best of luck.
