Can I deworm my puppy at home without a vet? Do sardines work?

Hello! Is there any way to deworm a puppy at home? Most friends has suggested feeding her sardines (not in sauce). I also wonder if it does work, does it take care of all kinds of worms or is it different for each type? We do not have a vet or an animal hospital in our area. Thank you! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 29 days old | 13 lbs

Sardines will not deworm a puppy. You could try an over the counter broad spectrum dewormer from a pet store. It will treat most parasites but not all so it would be best to have a stool sample tested for parasites to make sure an additional dewormer isn't needed.
