My 6 month old red) white Irish setter has what appears to be a blood blister on her stomach in the nipple area. It just appeared today. Not sure what it is or what was caused by.

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is hard to say without examining Neala which the lesion is, but it could be a bacterial infection, fungal infection, or a small mass. I would recommend Neala gets checked out by her vet soon to have this looked at. Your vet may need to take a sample of the lesion to determine what it is and if it is something that needs to be removed or not. Antibiotics or antifungal medication may need to be prescribed to Neala if warranted. Thanks again for posting and best of luck to you and Neala!
