Why did my senior dog die suddenly after vomiting and weakness?

My 13 yr old mini poodle died yesterday morning. She was running around the back yard like she always did Friday morning, and when I let her in she started throwing up. She did eat her dinner Friday night, but we could tell she wasn't feeling well. She came to bed with me and the next morning she wouldn't walk unless I put her down. She walked to the back yard to do her business, but by bed time she wasn't walking just standing starring. By 8:30 Sun morning she had died. Why I miss her so. Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Poodle | Female | spayed | 13 years and 3 months old | 9 lbs

I am very sorry to hear about your loss of Libby. Unfortunately as dogs get older they are more likely to have heart issues and organs that do not work properly. Without testing I am not able to tell you exactly why Libby passed. I know it is difficult to deal with a loss.
