My dog has lumps spreading quickly on his nose and face. What's wrong?

My dog started out with two lumps on the bridge of his nose. Within 3 days , these lumps have spread on the tip of his nose and 3 more under his eye.

I am concerned that Racer either has a reaction to something - like a spider or insect bite, or this could be a type of infection, possibly fungal like cryptococcus. I do recommend you take him in to see your vet tomorrow, they may suggest a needle biopsy to determine what is the cause, or possibly a blood test. I would expect they may suggest antibiotics to cover until results are back. It may be more apparent on physical exam as to the cause.
