My wild pigeon has a strange bump on its foot. How can I help it?

Dear you I have found a wild pigeon that it has the sign of a diseases.. In the appearance the pigeon is well. Eats and fly well. But a pustule like thing is seen on his left foot. How can i help him to prevent the progress of the diseases? Thank you very much

Make sure there is nothing caught around the toe that could be causing constriction, if so remove it. It looks like the claw could be infected so you would need to take the pigeon to the vet and clean the toe with chlorhexidine whilst administering antibiotics such as baytril or terramycin.
