In an eight year old unspayed dog, the symptoms you are describing may be consistent with pyometra, or an infection of the uterus. This is generally considered an emergency that should be addressed as soon as possible. The uterus fills up with pus and infectious material, and can ultimately result in a severe systemic infection. I recommend taking Bella in to the vet for an exam right away so they can determine if this is the issue. The best thing to do for her if it is, is removing her uterus and ovaries. Hope this makes sense.
