Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 7 years and 2 months old | 73 lbs
About a week ago my dog started having very soft stools that were orange and yellow. I took him to the vet and had blood, urine, and fecal tests done. All came back normal ao the vet gave me an antibiotic to give him for a week and probiotics. We also put him on chicken and rice. He has been acting normal and happy with the only symptom being very soft stool. Today was his last day of antibiotics and he is still having the orange soft stool. No jaundice and he is drinking normally. What do I do?

If the abovementioned diagnostic tests in combination with the treatments your described were mostly unsuccessful, the next step moving forward would be diagnostic imaging with x-ray and/or ultrasound to further investigate the problem. X-rays would provide a gross picture of the size and shape of the organs, and would show us any extremely obviously issues such as a large mass. Ultrasound imaging would give us a more detailed image of organ architecture, fluid movements, intestinal contractions, and quality of ingesta. Exploratory surgery of the GI tract with biopsies is also another more invasive option if the issues become more severe and worrisome. Other options for diagnostics, typically only available at specialty facilities include endoscopy with biopsy, and CT scan. Hope this helps.
