My 12yr old yorkie has a blood/red dot on his eyeball, possibly specifically on the pupil. What is this exactly? What would cause it and what to do to fix it?

This is something that must be checked physically by your vet, it could be a burst blood vessel, glaucoma or uveitis for example and among other things, without checking the eye it is impossible to know what it is and thus i cannot recommend any treatment.
