My 12-year-old yorkie has a red dot on his eye. What should I do?

My 12yr old yorkie has a blood/red dot on his eyeball, possibly specifically on the pupil. What is this exactly? What would cause it and what to do to fix it? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 7 lbs

This is something that must be checked physically by your vet, it could be a burst blood vessel, glaucoma or uveitis for example and among other things, without checking the eye it is impossible to know what it is and thus i cannot recommend any treatment.
