Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 25 days old
I fed Mayor a food which I don't know that should not be fed to a dog specifically chicken curry (just the chicken). Mayor vomits and he is now just lying down. He will walk to vomit a watery substance and lie down again. What should I do? Are there any remedy from the kitchen I can give him? Is it true that a water moxed with some sugar can somehow help? Please help. Thanks.

Yes, you are correct that dogs should not be given curry. It contains spices that are very upsetting to their stomach. I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps him, but no water mixed with sugar will not help at all. In fact, too much sugar can cause further GI upset. In the future, do not feed him curry again, and only feed him his dog food. As for the home remedy, withhold food for 8-12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. I hope this helps!
