My dog has a little lump behind his ear someone told me it could be a spider bite. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 9 years old | 50 lbs

Spider bites can get pretty large with a dark center and a discharge. They can take longer to heal than other insect bites. There is never a way to be certain what causes it. If there is a drainage then clean it with soap and water and keep neosporin in it until you can get to the vet. If there is no puncture and it is a bump under the skin then I would have that checked to make sure it is not a growth
