My dog still has diarrhea after a month, what else can I try?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Male | neutered | 5 years and 9 months old | 55 lbs

My dog has a diarrhoea! Been to vets, got antibiotics and good bacteria for his gut and it made no difference. Changed his food to bakers - no change, now got IVA meat tins and dry food which helped so last night mixed the meat tin with his usual bakers and he has pood on my carpet again. This is bedn going on for over a month, tried tge white rice too but it makes no difference, please help!!

It takes 3-4weeks for the lining of the gut to fully repair and regenerate. If you have found a food which helped, I recommend you continue to feed this for a month to allow everything to settle down. I would also recommend continuing with a fibre/probiotic supplement such as fortiflora and in rare cases prescription medication may be required to regulate bowel motion also
