Pet's info: Dog | Dogue de Bordeaux | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 115 lbs
My dog developed a red bump on his face over the last week maybe and I am concerned as to what it is...from what I have read it looks like either a wart or a hystiocytoma...can you tell by looking if it is either of those or something more serious?..my dog is a year and a half old only...sorry it is hard to see getting him to sit still was not easy

It looks to me like a little wart, but it could be a histiocytoma or another type of tumour in the early stages. It is impossible to know by looking at it, and it would need to be tested to know for sure. However, as it looks pretty innocuous I wouldn't worry too much and would advise you to monitor it. If it changes quickly then have it tested.
