Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 80 lbs
My 7 year old dog had bloody diarrhea two days ago. The bleeding and diarrhea has since subsided significantly but now he has trouble using his back legs. He doesn't really want to get up (even to eat or go to bathroom), but when he does he's in pain. He didn't want to eat until in the evening last night (rice with chicken broth with a little dry food mix and he had some water). Will he be okay?

There is no way for us to answer this question effectively without having examined Big Boy. His symptoms are not specific for any illness or disease process. My best guess based on the fact that he is not neutered would be an issue with the prostate gland. This is not something you can remedy at home if this is, in fact, the issue. I can tell you that if he is in pain he needs to see a vet and get some pain medications. That is unfair to him to make him suffer in pain. Please get him to a vet so they can perform an exam and give you the best course of action to help Big Boy feel better as soon as possible.
