What breed is my new rescue dog? How can I identify her breed?

I have recently rescued a dog from a home where she was being badly treated I am just wondering if its possible for someone to tell me what breed she is ?

She looks big! From her head shape, I would think there is some Great Dane in her. I can't tell you for sure if she may be full Great Dane or a mix, but her paws, head shape, short coat, and coloring and very similar to a Great Dane.
