My 11-year old Cardigan Corgi has had congestion for a week after we got home from a multi-state road trip. I hear it only in evenings when she is laying down for sleep. Sounds like she needs to blow her nose. Occasionally she will sneeze. I don't detect a temperature (haven't checked with a thermometer tho). She runs around with energy we haven't seen while on our trip so it is hard to think she is sick. What would you recommend that we do for her?.

Gabby may have a mild upper respiratory infection. if she seems fine otherwise, and the congestion seems to be getting better, then she is dealing with it on her own just fine and I wouldn't worry. If her symptoms worsen, or if she stops eating and playing normally, then she likely needs an exam by a vet and some antibiotics and perhaps antihistamines. Hope that helps!
