Is feeding Oscar fish shrimp every day healthy? What alternatives?

I have recently bought 2 tiger Oscars which are about 3 inches in length. But they don't eat normal pellet which I use to give to other fishes. On net I saw prawns or shrimps are very good for Oscars. So, I began to give small pieces of prawns to them which they liked a lot. But I want to know is prawn everyday good for their health?? My rule for exotic pets (fish included) is feed them what they were designed to eat. In the wild they are consuming multiple types of prey, so alternating the diet is always beneficial. Thanks for posting the question! Enjoy your aquarium!
