My dog is shaking and vibrating. What causes dog tremors or shivers?

Layla will do this odd thing where she shakes/shivers, almost like she's vibrating, for a few secones at a time. It is very weird. What could it be? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 9 years and 9 months old | 100 lbs

Tremors or shaking can have a variety of causes- congenital (see more in younger dogs), toxins, metabolic disorders, or organ dysfunction. It could also be a focal or partial seizure. My advice is to have Layla examined by her veterinarian and some blood work as well as imagine done to help determine a cause. I hope this helps and best wishes to you and Layla!
