Hi, my cat licked some dry active yeast. I know yest is poisonous, but what amounts may cause damage? Thank you. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 7.5 lbs

You would need a relatively high amount of yeast to cause your cat a serious toxic effect, it is in fact the alcohol from the yeast that is problematic and can cause toxicity, if she just licked a little bit of yeast she is not likely to show any symptoms.
