My dog has kidney failure. Is her condition improving with diet?

My dog has kidney failure stage four. She's getting fed the Hills prescription c/d food and she drinks lots of water and she's peeing and although she has less energy than before, she still looks energetic and happy. Is she getting better? Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 7 years and 10 months old | 10 lbs
