Why is my dog limping after waking up with no obvious injury?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 26 days old

I have a limping pup. Seems to be worse when she wakes. No obvious trauma. When i touch not hot no yelps but lame for a minute after then just limps

Poor Greta! If this seems to persist after a few days, even with rest from exercise, she needs to see a vet for radiographs and appropriate pain medication. She may have some mild soft tissue trauma like a sprained joint, or there could be a small fracture in a bone. This is why I always recommend Xrays if a lameness is persistent and doesn't seem to resolve on its own with time and rest. Hope that helps!
