My cat had diarrhea & vet care. Should I worry about no poop/pee?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 8 years and 5 months old | 36 lbs

My cat had diarrhea and sickness so i took her to the vet where the vet gave leyla a antiobiotic injection and a appetite stimulator injection. She seems better and is eating chicken and some tuna i havnt given her cat food until shes 100%. But she hasnt passed a stool today and hasnt urinated should i be worried?

I'm sorry Leyla hasn't been well! Given that she had diarrhea, it's not surprising that she hasn't passed a stool today. You often see a period where a cat won't pass feces after having diarrhea, and I wouldn't be too concerned about that just yet. As for not urinating, she could be dehydrated from the diarrhea and sickness, and I would add some low sodium chicken broth in with her chicken to get more moisture into her. You can also offer her some wet food. If she still hasn't peed by tomorrow, then I would be more concerned and take her back into the vet right away. I hope this helps and she feels better soon!
