My cat bites the new kitten during play. Is this normal behavior?

How do I know if Stella likes the new baby kitten they play and then sometimes Stella gets carried away and literally bites the cat how do I tell the body language what's good and what's not

You will see mother cats display this behavior with their kittens. They will bite their kittens gently and sometimes harder to get them to stop behaviors that annoy them or are inappropriate. Stella could be doing the same behavior to let Savannah know she has had enough. As long as Stella isn't breaking skin with her bite, this is normal behavior. If you see that Stella is biting her hard enough to break the skin and/or make her cry in pain, then separate them immediately. I hope this helps!
