Why is my dog's urine still clear after she stopped eating?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 9 years and 2 months old | 9 lbs

Hi Scribbles suddenly stopped eatting and drinking on Tues. Her urine is clear. I dulitued Pedialyte with broth gave cottage cheese. She didn't wants anything not even treats. Seemed more mopey then usual. Today she started eattingband drinking on Her own. However urine is still clear. No temp, gums nice and pink stools are normal not as frequent.

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Urine can look deceptively clear, but still be perfectly normal. The only way to know for sure is to collect a sample of urine in a clean container & take it to your vet ( or take Scribbles to the vet for a complete check up ). We can do a quickie urinalysis that includes a measure of the dissolved solids in urine. This is a very good indication of what her overall kidney function might be. But as long as she has resumed eating & drinking, it is not an emergency, but at her age, a good check up might be in order. Take care.
